For most of us, we haven’t been able to step into a bar in the last year, so I say, bring the bar home!

Set the ambiance. Light a couple of candles. Play some soothing tunes. Put on your favorite/ comfy frock. Facetime with friends, an at-home date, or enjoy your me-time.

I’ve always been a cocktail connoisseur. I greatly appreciate the art of creating a handcrafted cocktail.

I love the classics and sometimes they just hit the spot. I’ve been drinking my dirty martinis for a decade.

There’s something about the classic cocktails that allow you to slip back in time with each sip. It’s sophisticated and simple. In that regard, I will fully indulge.

Take pleasure in shamelessly sipping on an ice-cold dirty martini. (Stirred not shaken, Mr. Bond…)

Here’s how I create mine. Preferred vodka: Titos! (Which is vegan, by the way)

  • Measure 2 oz vodka and pour into an ice-filled mixing glass.
  • Add ½ oz dry vermouth and 1 oz olive brine.
  • Stir together until well chilled.
  • Using a julep strainer, strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish with 2 olives!

Salut!
